FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What are the requirements to buy a brand new Toyota?

To purchase a Toyota, you’ll need valid government-issued IDs, proof of billing, and proof of income (such as payslips, bank statements, or a certificate of employment). If you’re applying for financing, banks or Toyota’s partner financing institutions may ask for additional documents. Contact us for more questions.

Not necessarily. Toyota customers can choose between: Cash Payment – settle the full amount upfront. Financing Options – pay a down payment (usually 20%–30% of the vehicle price) and settle the balance through monthly installments. Toyota dealerships also offer flexible financing programs, including low down payment promos.

On top of the vehicle price, customers may need to pay for:

  • Registration and documentation fees
  • Insurance (Comprehensive & TPL)
  • Chattel mortgage fees (if financed)
  • Dealer processing fees

Some Toyota dealerships also offer all-in financing packages where these costs are already included.

If your preferred model and color are in stock, your Toyota can be released within just a few days after payment or loan approval. If the unit is not immediately available, waiting times will depend on availability and logistics, which may take a few weeks.
Yes! Toyota dealerships often provide promotions, special offers, and freebies such as tint, floor mats, seat covers, and even fuel vouchers. Depending on the promo, financing deals may also include low down payment or zero down payment options.

Starting January 1, 2025, all brand new Toyota vehicles now come with a Toyota 5-Year Warranty:

  • Standard Coverage: Previously, Toyota offered a 3-Year or 100,000 KM warranty. The new program extends this up to 5 years or 140,000 KM, whichever comes first, provided customers meet the required Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) schedule.

  • How It Works:

    • Customers who complete at least six (6) PMS visits at any Toyota dealer (with at least one PMS per year) qualify for a 4th Year Full Coverage Warranty.

    • Customers with 3–5 PMS visits qualify for a 4th Year Limited Coverage Warranty, excluding wear-and-tear parts related to suspension, steering, and brakes.

    • Completing 2 PMS visits during the 4th year qualifies the customer for a 5th Year Full Coverage Warranty.

    • Completing only 1 PMS visit in the 4th year provides a 5th Year Limited Coverage Warranty.

This means Toyota customers can now enjoy longer protection and greater peace of mind as long as their vehicles are serviced at authorized Toyota dealers.

Yes. At minimum, Third Party Liability (TPL) insurance is required for registration. Toyota also recommends getting Comprehensive Insurance for complete protection against theft, accidents, and natural disasters.
Yes, foreigners can purchase Toyota vehicles. However, they’ll need valid identification and supporting documents required by local authorities for vehicle registration under their name.
The best way to maintain your Toyota is by following the Toyota Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS), usually every 5,000 KM or 6 months, whichever comes first. Doing PMS at authorized Toyota dealerships not only keeps your vehicle in top condition but also ensures that your warranty remains valid.
It’s always safest to buy from an authorized Toyota dealership. Sales consultants are connected to official dealerships, but always verify their legitimacy before making payments or submitting documents. Buying directly from an authorized dealer guarantees that you get genuine Toyota vehicles, official warranty coverage, and professional after-sales support.
